I am a Dorset based Creative Producer, Project Manager and Performing Artist. My purpose in life is to voice unheard voices and create platforms for taboo subjects. As a performer I create intimate autobiographical works that confront and question the limitations of my body. My work currently addresses and interrogates the taboo subject which is my body, inviting audience and community members to discuss the fat female form.
I thrive off of working with communities, groups of people to enable change and have participated in plenty of programmes around leadership, social action and change making with organisations like the Southbank Centre, Drivers for Change and The Arts Development Company (Culture+). I am a Rights, Risks and Reputations Ambassador and have led creative conversations about challenging a risk averse Dorset.
I am committed and determined to enhance access to culture for all and champion its positive effect on personal development. I have experience in working closely with and tailoring projects, training programmes and learning activities for underrepresented and marginalised groups. I enjoy facilitating training sessions and programmes, there’s always something new to learn / experience!
